This is me and my APQS Millennium!  What a dream machine!

This is a picture of the walkway with the wonderful mats on them.  Thank you to the ones on the quilt list who recommended these.  Bob uses them also.
Our feet and back thank you!

This is where we keep the variegated and special threads.  Bob put the pegboard up so I could get to the gadgets easier.  Long nails have been attached to the wood to hang the thread.  Larger spools like NYMO
are hung on longer pegs.

More pegboard.  Good thing.
I have more gadgets on the way.

This is the rolling light box Bob made for me.
Very simple.  We bought the same wheels that the APQS rolls on and just hung them on the lower rail.  The light shines up thru the lexan on the top.

Better shot of how the light box works.  I have the Pattern Grid on the top of my table also so it's easy for me to line objects up just how I want them.

The lighting in my room was awful so Bob made me this overhead lighting system.  Of course I had to decorate it with grape leaves and a cat birdhouse.

This is the embroidery area and my work table.  I keep the incoming custom  quilts under this table. I also keep pieces of fabric in a large jar in case someone needs a little color added to something.

I keep all my quilting magazines and patterns in this cabinet.

We use engineering triangles to mark the edge of the quilt we are working on.  By placing the blue edge [painter's tape] across the panto, we can see exactly where to stop quilting.  I love Bob's ideas.  Doing it this way is easier than post-it notes or grease pencil.

I copied some more ideas from the quilt list.  I now keep my needle in the front of the machine with the magnet.  Pins on the side and I added one of my own.  I was always walking to get my seam ripper, little ruler and such.  So I added the soap holder for showers.
Love it!  Saves me so much time.

Because I'm short, Bob made this walkway for me.  It is made in 2 parts for ease of movement if not needed, or they can be stacked up.  Of course the official quilt protector, Tinker, is checking it out closely.

We all know what it is like to break the thread and have it wind around the wheel inside the machine!
I had Bob cut an empty thread cone in half and taped it over the flywheel.
No more problems!
